Travel Agent vs. Wedding Planner
A destination wedding planner will most likely be a representative of the resort that is chosen. Sometimes they get assigned 6 months out. Their focus is coordinating the wedding events, schedule, and organizing your vendors day of.
A travel agent will:
- Assist you in your resort selection to help you find the perfect place that is best for YOU!
- Show you wedding packages different resorts offer so you can make an educated decision before going all in
- Secure your group room block
- Book your guest's travel
- Arrange wedding date, ceremony time, & event locations
The Process
Step 1: Book a consultation

Step 2: Choosing your resort
There are hundreds of resorts to choose from. My job is to help you find the perfect spot for YOU while accounting for what you want in a wedding. I can show you sample wedding packages, ceremony sites, resort inclusions, and more!
After you decide on a resort, I will coordinate with the resort's wedding department to solidify your special day. I will verify the ceremony date, time, and location.
Step 3: Booking
There are a couple different ways to book your guests. I will walk you through different options so you can make an educated decision on what would be best for you and your guests. The initial deposit will vary based on what you decide.
