What do travel agents do & why should I have one?

In a world of online booking, travel is now as complex as ever. Out of hundreds of hotels to choose from, how will you know what place is best for you?
It is my job to travel as much as I can and make connections with resorts so I can provide you with a personalized, hand picked recommendation on which resort meets your wishes. 

Travel is as complex as ever! Especially for those booking expensive trips; honeymoons, cruises, safaris, anniversaries, etc. There are unlimited options! You could spend days or weeks researching for the perfect trip. Using a travel agent you often get the same prices you see online, but you are going to get a whole lot more service. 

Sure, you can find a resort and book it without an agent... but who is going to be servicing your reservation? What if your flight gets cancelled? What if your guest to your destination wedding books the wrong hotel (it has happened) or forgets to buy transportation? What if a global pandemic kicks in and you have to postpone your entire trip/wedding? --- a travel agent handles all of this and more!

How much does a travel agent cost?

I am currently offering complimentary planning to select destinations. This mostly includes the Caribbean, Hawaii, South Pacific, Mexico, and cruises. For these trip I work directly on commission received from the travel entity we book with

Packages to Europe, Asia, & Africa will have a starting fee of $50 fee per destination. These multi country trips can be daunting for first timers and a lot of coordination needs to be in place to make sure tours, transfers, and hotel accommodations go smoothly. 

Alright, i'm interested. How does this work?

Here is a breakdown in 5 easy steps!

1. Book your consultation with me to talk about your vacation / destination wedding

2. Pay the trip deposit/any fees associated with the service & fill out my CRM reservation form (this is how I will send you invoices and payment links)

3. Pick your destination out of the proposed options sent to you from me (Julia)

4. Secure your reservation with a deposit through the secure link provided by the CRM 

5. Done & booked! Now you can sit back and get excited for your vacation! I will be sending you documents and need to know travel information leading up to your trip. You will also have access to a free app that will hold all trip reservations and an customized itinerary. 

***All reservations start with a nonrefundable trip deposit of $50 that is contributed to your reservation total or given back at time of travel (if contributed to the total it will be the last payment). This is not the same as the planning fee for Europe/Asia. That fee will be personalized and agreed upon during the client consultation. ***
